The most varied types of plastic
We can process the most varied types of plastic for your plastic parts.
You can think of ABS, PC, PET-G, PMMA, PS or (HD) PE
There are also combinations of different materials possible or plastics with special characteristics such as plastic that is UV resistant or plastic that is flame retardant.
Of course, almost all colors are available with a matt or even high gloss finish.
We can even vacuum form plastic sheets with the most varied images printed on it.

Vacuum formed products with clear or transparent plastics
Do you want to make a clear plastic product? Herefore we will provide you with some clear plastic materials that will allow us to vacuum form the desired product. The clear plastics we use for vacuum forming are:

PMMA: Plexiglas, or acrylate, is often used to replace glass. It is lighter than glass and deformed in all kinds of products and is available in almost any color. For example, PMMA is used to produce covers. A disadvantage of PMMA is the fire sensitivity, which makes it unsuitable for the automotive industry. Furthermore, the material is also scratch-sensitive and after vacuum forming very brittle therefore it is not impact resistant.

PC: Polycarbonate, also known as Lexaan or Macrolon, is a sturdy material, which has the great advantage that it can handle high temperatures and is self-extinguishing. This makes the material very suitable for the automotive industry.

PET-G: The properties  of PET-G are in the middle of PMMA and PC. PET-G is very suitable for vacuum forming. The material is chemically resistant and is therefore suitable for the food and medical industry.

Other plastics
ABS: A form-proof material with little movement. This makes ABS suitable for rigid objects, such as machine covers and other protective covers. However, ABS is sensitive to weather conditions such as moisture, oxygen and UV light, which can affect quality.

ABS PMMA: ABS with a PMMA top layer is ideal for outdoor applications or parts that are chemically cleaned. Available only in high gloss and more brittle than ABS ASA.

ABS ASA: An UV stable and weatherproof material with wide applications in the automotive industry, but also suitable for housings of electrical appliances and other devices. Not available in high gloss, but a tough type of plastic.

HDPE: HDPE is quite soft and tough. It is moisture repellent and has good weather and chemical resistance. HDPE is especially applicable in device construction and is very durable. However, this material is difficult to vacuum form.

With grain or texture
It is also possible to make plastic parts of plastic sheets with a grain or a structure.
This structure can ensure a nice and neat appearance of your (end) product.
An additional advantage is that your mold part becomes a lot less scratch-sensitive.
Particularly for plastic parts that are widely  used or plastic parts used in a rough enviroment, this is recommended so that it retains its beautiful appearance.

You’ll see that almost everything is possible in the field of deforming plastics and if you have special wishes, our experts will be happy to advise you.
